What a privilege it is to know how fashion media has responded to the collection I presented at Graduate Contour show 2010. One of the opinions came from Seven Bar News:

"The three designers that stood out to me the most, one of them was Edrima Wilsa Hanson. I am digging the metal accessories and accents from Hanson. That, plus the leather, plus the grey (my favorite color), just makes me want to jump on a horse and fight dragons or something. The metal half-glove (not pictured) would have made a really great accessory for Natalie Portman’s mom in Black Swan when she gets her hand shut in the door.. Not to mention it looks kind of like feathers.”

The Basic concept was developed and played with the idea of combining hard and soft and also having the masculine elements but keeping it feminine and really contoured to the body.
METAMORPHOSIS
The design inspired by the literary work by Franz Kafka "The Metamorphosis ".
"One day Gregor Samsa, a traveling salesman, wakes up to find himself transformed into a "ungeheures Ungeziefer", literally "monstrous vermin", often interpreted as a giant bug or insect." (A Novella by Franz Kafka, first published in 1915)
